The data consists of 4-band (RGBN) digital imagery at 6-inch pixel resolution covering Tampa Bay, St. Joseph/Clearwater Harbor, Sarasota Bay, Lemon Bay and Charlotte Harbor project areas. This data was acquired December 21, 2023 – April 6, 2024 with a Leica ADS100 digital sensor. The project area covers 1,147 square miles covering fourteen estuaries on the central west coast of Florida. Data will adhere to the Florida Statewide Grid 5000 by 5000 foot cells that serve as the District tiling scheme for ortho photo deliverables totaling 1,312 tiles. The goal of this project is to provide the source data for future completion of a detailed geospatial map that will assist in characterizing current seagrass distribution in the fourteen estuary project areas. |
